Behavior & Husbandry
Court Jester Gobies are calm, active foragers that spend their day grazing across rockwork, sand, and aquarium surfaces. Their constant searching behavior makes them fascinating to watch and highly beneficial in established reef systems.
They thrive in mature aquariums with abundant live rock, natural algae growth, and stable water conditions. Due to their peaceful nature, they do best with non-aggressive tankmates that won't outcompete them for food.
Providing a mature reef environment with plenty of grazing opportunities will greatly improve long-term success.
