Behavior & Husbandry
McCosker's Flasher Wrasses are extremely active swimmers that spend much of their day cruising the water column and interacting with their surroundings. Males are especially known for their spectacular "flashing" displays, where they rapidly intensify their colors and extend their fins to impress females or establish dominance.
They thrive in peaceful reef aquariums with plenty of open swimming space, strong water movement, and stable water conditions.
Like all flasher wrasses, they are excellent jumpers and require a secure lid or screen top.

Carnivorous and benefits from frequent, varied feedings.
