Behavior & Husbandry
Pixy Hawkfish are active and inquisitive fish that spend much of their time perched on rockwork, coral branches, and elevated structures while observing their surroundings. Unlike many reef fish, they do not possess a swim bladder, giving them their distinctive perch-and-watch behavior.
